This stunning crescent of factory outlet stores was set in rural Washington State, minutes from Vancouver, Canada to be the premier shopping experience for cross border shoppers. Located on the first freeway intersection south of both primary border crossings, the development of 150,000’ began with the vision of the outdoorsy Pacific Northwest experience.  Arthur Erikson Architects designed  a long elegant curved building culminating in a common area plaza topped with massive sails to uplift and shelter visitors. The tenant offerings appealed to locals and tourists alike with a mix of sportswear, rugged clothing and equipment, homewares, fashion, and food.  Themed attractions and adventures were added to make it into a family destination including a bright red miniature train ferrying passengers around the entire property. Biking and horse trail rides  emphasized the outdoor lifestyle clothing available at the center.  Construction and permanent financing by US Bancorp.
