MPC planned and entitled a 560,000 square foot big box development on forty acres of land in southern Riverside, CA. The land was initially purchased by Marquis’ parents, and annexed into the city of Murietta. Target was to be the anchor, and then as a condition of anchoring the property insisted on buying the entire development. A partnership of Target and Regency Centers purchased the property in early 2008, upon entitlement.
